![]() ![]() In these puzzle areas, you will need to switch between physical and mind planes in order to activate switches to raise/lower walls or move floating platforms. In between battles, there are puzzle zones that require completing in order to collect items to advance the story. The demo doesn’t give you enough time to see the effect of adding different rune types but gives a good enough idea of how players can customise the runes to reflect how they want to play. You’ll earn karma points, karma rune points and unique runes that you can add to Avril’s build to gain bonuses. Your choice will determine whether you make defender or conqueror choices and it will affect your karma. Throughout the demo you are faced with a choice of how to progress the story. When you fight lesser bosses, their health bar will be split orange and purple, so you must deplete both of its health bars to defeat it. Often you will be in a fight with multiples of both colours, so the combat gets quite dynamic as you dodge and jump around trying to get the best angle of attack and switching between the two power types. Using either nature power will hurt both monster types, however you will do much more damage to monsters of the same nature colour. In combat, you will see orange monsters and purple monsters. ![]()
